Theresa Faldet is the Practice Manager at Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center. She helps lead an entire team implement and bring to life the vision and mission of Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center with the utmost attention to putting patients first. Her passion and expertise in healthcare administration and operations comes from decades of clinical and business experience in family medicine, sports medicine, and preventive medicine.
Most recently, Theresa was the founder and CEO of a health care consulting practice, utilizing her strategic agility, diverse background and experience to benefit independent medical practices. She is a prior recipient of the Group Health Cooperative “Employee of the Year” Award and has also been creatively involved on a healthcare documentary with a film director and research group. No matter the project, Theresa applies drive and compassion to every opportunity with which she is entrusted. Theresa holds a special interest is leadership development and has trained under renowned leadership expert John Maxwell since 2008. She finds great fulfillment utilizing her teachings to develop and add value to talented individuals and teams. Having benefited early in her career from a mentor, she learned firsthand the importance of leadership development and its impact on individuals and organizations.
Cheryl Roark is the Vein Center Coordinator and Patient Care Coordinator. She has over 37 years’ experience in patient care and has been with Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center since 2004. During this time, Cheryl has worked in marketing, authorizations, scheduling, patient care and staff support. Cheryl’s wish is for every patient to experience the exceptional care offered at Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center. Outside of the office, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, including 4 grandchildren and 3 grand dogs. They have fun camping, boating, riding bikes, laughing and enjoying life.
Janis Ritala is the Billing Coordinator at Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center. She is responsible for all aspects of patient billing and claims. Janis has many years’ experience working in the medical field. She first started out as a receptionist and worked her way up to become an expert in medical coding and billing. She is adept at keeping up with insurance companies’ ever changing regulations, but working with patients is a highlight of Janis’s job. Whether it be in person or on the phone, Janis enjoys supporting patients and helping them understand their insurance coverage options.
Stefanie Axlen is a Certified Surgical Technologist at Northwest Vein and Aesthetic Center. She has always known that her passion in life would be a career in the medical field. Stefanie’s mother is a nurse and inspired Stefanie to pursue a career in health care. After the birth of her two children, she returned to school in 2011 and graduated with honors from Clover Park Technical College. Stefanie is spunky, loves to have fun and finds joy in helping her patients.
Erin Morris is a Certified Surgical Technologist at Northwest Vein and Aesthetic Center. Erin joined the NW Vein team immediately following completion of her education at Clover Park Tech in 2013. She is eager to learn something new at any given opportunity and keeps the back office running smoothly. Erin finds it enjoyable to get to work with patients from all walks of life and considers herself lucky to have coworkers that she can also call friends. When she isn't at work, you can find Erin spending time exploring the outdoors with her husband or playing with her two cats.
Christina Ancich is the Aesthetic Coordinator at Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center. She is a 3rd generation native of Gig Harbor and has lived there all her life. Christina attended Renon’s Cosmetology School in Seattle and worked as a cosmetologist for over 10 years. She was always interested in the medical field as well and this led her to enroll in medical classes at Tacoma Community College. Christina is now able to combine her love for Aesthetics and Medicine in her role at Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center. Seeing post-treatment results and improvements in the everyday life of her clients brings Christina great joy. Outside of work, Christina loves spending time with her husband, two amazing boys and great friends. Family and friends are very important to Chris and she feels blessed that they make her smile and laugh every day.
Johnna Gerontis is a licensed Master Aesthetician and laser technician at Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center. She provides services ranging from spa facials, waxing, chemical peels, hydra facials, laser hair removal, photo facials, laser vein treatments and more. A friend introduced her to the world of aesthetics while she was attending Pacific Lutheran University. She was amazed by how the treatment and product regimen helped clear her skin while adding a relaxing, therapeutic element. Johnna left PLU to pursue her passion for aesthetics, graduating in 2003 from Clover Park Technical Institute. In 2010, Johnna was certified by Barb Powers at Cutera for laser certification and has since received further advanced continuing education. Johnna loves finding creative ways to help clients meet their skin care needs. She has great listening skills, and clients often ask jokingly how much they owe for the therapy session in addition to the skin treatment. Her aesthetic skills, respect for client privacy and confidentiality puts them at ease. Some of Johnna’s outside interests include cooking, spending time with family and friends, kayaking, cross fit, paddle boarding, travel and life coaching.
Camile Harrison is a CoolSculpting Treatment Specialist and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the the Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vascular Technology where she was awarded the Outstanding Scholar Award, President’s Senior Cup, and the Lars Svanevic Citizenship Award. She then completed an externship at the University of Washington Medical Center. Camile has extensive background in Vascular Surgery and Vascular Sonography at Multicare, CHI Franciscan and Cascade Vascular, helping these organizations achieve vascular accreditation status. Camile finds great fulfillment in continued learning, expanding her scope of knowledge and training and furthering her professional development. Her vascular technology expertise was a natural lead-in to attaining certification as a CoolSculpt Specialist, and she is currently working towards her MBA degree. Camile is a military wife with two young children and enjoys spending her free time with family exploring their new surroundings.
Jordan Christiaens is the Lead Technical Director at Northwest Vascular Diagnostics and a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Vascular Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She further completed an externship at Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, California. Jordan joined Cascade Vascular in 2008 then was part of the original team when Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center first opened. She has a passion for diagnostic vascular ultrasound and a specific interest in venous disease. In her free time, Jordan enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors
Lana Thigpen is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with over 30 years’ experience in the vascular field. She completed her training at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She also has four decades experience in the nursing field and also holds certification as a licensed practical nurse. Lana enjoys working with patients and helping them gain a better understanding of their venous disease. Lana also enjoys getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable during their visit. In her free time, Lana likes to read, see her grandchildren and take care of her pet birds. She is Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center’s resident green thumb – any flower arrangements in the office likely come fresh from Lana’s garden.
Ashley is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). She first became interested in ultrasound during childhood after watching an obstetric ultrasound. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 2006 and complete an internship at the Cleveland Clinic. The aspect of her work that Ashley finds most rewarding is being able to follow patients through their treatment and witness improvements in their venous disease. In her free time, Ashley enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and three young children.
Ernie Redfield is the Diagnostic Coordinator at the Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center. Ernie was born in Seattle and currently lives in Port Orchard. He first became interested in healthcare after learning that his grandfather was a doctor in the Army. Ernie graduated from Western Washington University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and decided to pursue a career in the healthcare field, beginning his career at the University of Washington Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center before moving to Port Orchard. Outside of work, Ernie's hobbies include playing tennis, playing guitar, and online gaming.
