How ofen do I need to come in for a facial?
It is recommended to come in about every 4 weeks for a facial treatment because approx. every 28 days new skin cells make their way to the surface and the dead skin cells accumulate on the surface if left, or can be exfoliated with a facial treatment, peel, or microdermabrasion leaving the skin with a refreshed healthy glow.
Is there actually any difference between the products I can at the grocery store or department store and the ones sold in medical spas of medical offices?
The amount of active ingredients and level in the skin the ingredients travel to is much higher in medical grade products and they are more effective in acheiving results.
How do I combine laser procedures and procedures such as microdermabrasions and chemical peels? Do I need both?
There have been studies that show that starting with a light pass of microdermabrasion before some laser procedures makes the treatment even more effective. Combining the these procedures in packages is very beneficial and something that would be discussed in the consultaion at the time of the treatment planning.
Does Insurance Cover Aesthetic Procedures?
Since most insurance companies do not cover aesthetic procedures, payment is due at time of service. We also offer special packages and seasonal specials, so be sure to inquire when making your appointment.
